The women of this
congregation sincerely strive to love God and grow closer to each
other. The works listed here help accomplish both. Although there
are other ministries women participate in, these are the ones that are
presently being done primarily by women.
By their very nature, ministries come and go, change and evolve; All women of
the congregation are encouraged to find a work where she can contribute her
time and show her concern. If you're aware of an area of need that
isn't being met, get with some concerned people and explore the possibility
of meeting that need.
Habitat for Humanity
Humanity Meal Preparation;
Class members provide lunches for workers at building sites

to Project Linus
New, handmade blankets are given to children in Williamson
County who are enduring traumatic
times. The children range in age from newborns through teens. .

Monthly events are scheduled so the women can
love each other and get to know one another better.

Meals for the
Bereaved
Involves planning, preparing, and
delivering a meal to the bereaved family on the day of the funeral.

Library
A group meets two mornings a month to organize and care for the
library. New items (books, tapes, videos) are often contributed which
they list and assimilate into the library.

Resource Room
The resource room houses supplies and a well-organized reference library for
classroom teachers.

Quilting Group
On the second Tuesday of each month a quilting group meets in room 104.
Each newly-wed couple of the congregation received a handmade quilt made
by these sisters. "Special occasion" quilts are also made. A potluck
lunch is shared midday.

for the Deaf:
A Sunday morning class is
offered for all interested in learning sign language. The signers
receive practice by translating Sunday services.
